TP Corrosion is a full-service engineering company, offering assessment and consulting services to add maximum value for clients throughout the asset’s lifecycle.

· Visual inspection and assessment of the structure from groundline to structure top.

· Visual inspection and assessment of the conductor, insulators, and hardware.

· Visual assessment of the site conditions, site grading/drainage and vegetation coverage.

· Excavation of the structure foundation from groundline down to the bottom to expose the foundation for inspection.

· Photographic documentation of the condition of the below grade foundation, groundline conditions and above grade conditions.

· Measurement and documentation of pitting depth, edge loss, protective coating thickness, steel thickness, member size, soil resistivity, salt contamination, pH of soil, and soil potential measurements.

· Cathodic protection system in-field testing and troubleshooting.

· Remaining life assessments, soil testing and corrosion rate calculations.

· Section loss calculations and below grade condition rating.

· Concrete cap inspection and assessment.

Engineering Recommendation Reports

All data collected is analyzed then recommendations are developed to prevent, arrest or repair corrosion damage issues while focused on the life extension of the asset. At the conclusion of the project, we will deliver a Final Report which details the findings on each of the structures inspected.

·       Evaluation of each structure’s condition and condition assessment ratings based on the corrosion levels for each of the structures inspected.

·       Detailed recommendations and cost estimate for below-ground and above-ground repairs based on condition ratings.

·       Documentation turnover package of all raw data stated within the inspection scope and the corresponding photographic evidence.

·       Professional Engineer Stamp and transmittal letter.
